Our 8th Annual Club Run was held on 26th Oct. 2012 in the evening at Thompson Pines, our training site. Mother Nature were especially kind to us and the weather was the best on that day, cool and perfect. A record of more than 80 members turned up. This year Paragon Vest agreed to sponsor cash vouchers for the top 5 position. Unlike other runs, our club run awards not to the fastest runners who complete the race. We make it such so that anyone will have a chance to win the race. Each year, the theme of the run is different, previous years the runners were asked to guess the distance of the run upon completion and last year they were asked to guess their weight. The runners were not informed at all before the start and this make the race so interesting. So whoever is the smartest will be the winner! This year's run, all runners were not allowed to wear watches and all were given 2 ribbons at intervals along the route. Immediately upon completion, all haveto predict the distance at which the 1st and 2nd ribbon will given out. We have also special categories for our juniors.They only need to run a distance of 1.2km for age 7 and below and 2.4km for the age 12 and below. The official results will be announced at our Annual Dinner held the next day at Greentown Seafood Restaurant.
