TAIPING INTERNATIONAL MARATHON - LATEST NEWS!!!

Taiping Tourist association has planned this Taiping International Marathon, the inaugural marathon event, is set to light up the Heritage and Environmental Town of Malaysia, (northern Malaysia, about 45 minutes drive south of Penang) on the 24^th SEPTEMBER 2011. This will be an annual event.

Distance: 10km, 15km, 30km and 42km

1] SENIOR VETERAN- MALES and FEMALES (above 60y) - 10 km
Entry Fees = RM 50.00
1st - RM 2000.00
2nd- RM 1000.00

2] VETERAN- MALES and FEMALES (50-59y) - 15 km
Entrance fees = RM 75

3] SENIOR PLUS-MALES and FEMALES (40-49y) - 30 km
