YELLOW RIBBON PRISON RUN, SINGAPORE 2014 - 14 SEPT. 2014

The Yellow Ribbon Run is an annual meaningful fund raising run in Singapore.

It's not just a run, it's a journey to inspire the right moves.  This year about 9,000 took part in the 6th Yellow Ribbon run which raised $130,000.00 for the Yellow Ribbon Project.

"The Yellow Ribbon Project seeks to engage the community in giving ex-offenders a second chance at life and to inspire a ripple effect of concerted community action to support ex-offenders and their families."

About 9000 people ran or trudged along "The Road to Acceptance" on Sunday morning for the sixth Yellow Ribbon Prison Run, which raised $130,000 for ex-offenders.
Cerebral palsy sufferer Alson Wang wheeled his way through a 6km route ending at the Changi Prison Complex. He was assisted by volunteers from Runninghour, a group that organises sports activities for the disabled.
